After many years of working for others, Vasilis formally launched his own solo career in 1995 under the stage name doitmusic. Singing in English while maintaining the beauty and grace of traditional Greek music, the projects timeless appeal quickly found an international audience. His latest release is 2019's 'DOITMUSIC,' in which he blends electronic and hip hop production with Greek instrumentation and English lyrics to create a work of art that truly defies genre.
In addition to his prolific recording career, he has composed music for several films and television programs. He provided the soundtrack for Alexandros Kollatos' "Death On The Prowl," which was critically acclaimed at film festivals around the world. He worked on the television series "Limni ton Stenagmon," and also produced a short documentary called "A Concert…A Journey…" which documents one of his performances.
